Elizabeth Berkley is an excellent American television, movie, and theatre actress best known for her role of Jessie on "Saved by the Bell".

At the age of 5, knowing her love for dance, her parents enrolled her at the Detroit Dance Company to learn dancing.

Elizabeth has performed in musicals and took part in ballets like "Swan Lake". She has also appeared in stage plays like London stage version of "Lenny" starring alongside British stand-up comedian and dramatic actor Eddie Izzard.

Her Broadway debut began with a comedy play "Sly Fox" directed by Larry Gelbart.

She then began her on-screen acting career at the age of fourteen with a guest role in the television episode "Gimme a Break!" in 1986.

Elizabeth Berkley soon shot to fame with her long running role of Jessie in a television drama "Saved by the Bell" [76 episodes: 1989-1993].

In 1982, at the age of 8, Elizabeth Berkley auditioned but could not secure the lead role in the film "Annie".

She made her debut on silver screen with a made-for-television movie "Frog" in 1987 and made her debut in movies with her performance in the film "Platinum Blonde" in 1988.

Later she performed prominent supporting roles in movies such as "The First Wives Club" [1996], "The Taxman" [1998], "Tail Lights Fade" [1999], "Roger Dodger" [2002], "Moving Malcolm" [2003] and many other movies.

Berkley has also acted in many single episodic television sitcoms like "Day by Day" [1988], "Life Goes On" [1990], "Baywatch" [1992], "Jack & Jill" [2000], "Threshold" [2005], "Law & Order: Criminal Intent" [2006] and several others.

Elizabeth Berkley has performed in many successful made-for-television movies like "Bandit: Bandit Goes Country" [1994], "Becoming Dick" [2000], "The Elevator" [2001], "Control Factor" [2003], "Black Widow" [2008] and many others.
